PARTICIPANTS

Leadership Wichita Falls is designed for professionals from both the public and the private sectors.  Candidates generally hold key positions in their organizations and are sincerely interested in becoming more involved in the Wichita Falls experience.  Through effective orientation, discussion opportunities and interaction with prominent area leaders, individuals expand their leadership skills and develop close relationships with other community members.

Class size is limited to 40 participants, each willing to attend every session.  Applications are reviewed and when the final decision is determined, class candidates are notified by mail.

Application forms along with tuition must be received by December 15, 2007.

COST

Tuition for the 2008 Leadership Wichita Falls program is $595 for applications received prior to November 15, 2007 and $650 for all applications received after this date.  Tuition costs are usually paid by the participants' organization.  However, individual payment is also accepted.  The full tuition must accompany the application, and will be promptly returned if the applicant is not selected for the 2008 class.  After the first session, a 50% refund will be returned to participants who are not able to complete the program.  Refunds will not be available after January 22, 2008.

ALUMNI

Alumni are prepared to serve on community boards and commissions, and become more involved in key decision-making positions throughout the community.  They may also remain active with LWF through social activities and by assisting the adult and youth leadership programs.
