Alumni... "Leaders on the Move"

  The Leadership Wichita Falls organization, founded in 1979, is an organization dedicated to and made up of alumni from Leadership Wichita Falls classes.  Its mission is to provide Leadership Wichita Falls graduates with tools to make Wichita Falls a better place to work, live and enjoy life through its programs and contacts.

Membership in the alumni organization is not mandatory, but is highly encouraged to continue the training, learning and more importantly, relationships built through participation in the Leadership Wichita Falls program.

The mission of the LWF Alumni is to create quarterly programs and networking opportunities to both strengthen Leadership Wichita Falls alumni member connections and educate and inform members on pivotal issues so they can contribute their leadership to the greater Wichita Falls region.

The association’s activities are under the direction of the Leadership Alumni Committee, Chaired by Brent Tincher, which reports directly to the Leadership Wichita Falls Board.

 Steak of the Town Cook-Off October 6th

   The 2nd annual Steak of the Town Cook-Off event will take place on October 6 in the Farmers Market area of downtown Wichita Falls.  The event starts at 12:00pm and dinner will be served from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.  Tickets are $20 a person and dinner includes hand-cut ribeye steak, beans, baked potato and a drink.  There will be live music from local bands and vendors from around the area.

 LWF Board Adopts LWF Class Project of 2004

    The WFCGC will now be known as the LWFCGC and will be a major fundraiser to benefit the  LWF organization. LWF will use the proceeds of this event to fulfill the mission of LWF which is to PRODUCE COMMUNITY LEADERS.

The LWFCGC is a three day Championship Golf Tournament to be held Friday October 5th through Sunday October 7th. This year's tournament will be held at River Creek Golf Course on Friday, Sheppard Air Force Base Golf Course on Saturday and Wichita Falls Country Club Golf Course on Sunday. 2007 Tom Natale Award Given to Rick Hatcher

   The 2007 Tom Natale Award  has been awarded to Rick Hatcher.Rick is a Leadership Wichita Falls graduate class of 2001.  He served 2 terms as a LWF board member and remains active with LWF.
